Connect with Other Christians
Discovering the depth and complexity of life with Jesus in difficult, and nothing bolsters our resolve to pursue faithfulness more than learning together with a community of believers.
Older and younger, men and women: people from all walks and backgrounds who will listen to doubts and questions without hostility or rejection are invaluable. We believe that a “disciple” is a learner at his or her core, so we work to spur one another on toward continuous growth and maturity in Christ.
Because we believe that people sharpen one another in the same way that iron sharpens iron, pastors and teachers from our community offer different seminars, courses and discussion groups throughout the year. Please check back often to get an updated glimpse of what’s going on.
A group of men from our community get together monthly to share about God’s goodness in their lives and to be encouraged and challenged through studying the word together. They are currently reading through the book of James.
The 3rd Saturday of the month, 7:00am-8:30am, Room 213

Tuesday Morning Bible Study
This is an in-depth Bible study with practical life application, currently engaging with the minor prophets. Our Senior Pastor, Ben Tertin, is teaching this year, and he loves to bring the complex nuances and abstractions of biblical literature down to the concrete streets of real life here in Portland. We have lively discussions, and all are absolutely welcome to jump in.
Tuesday mornings, 10:00am-11:45am, Mitchell Hall.
